Annual Wellness Panel
Your annual labs should actually tell you something.
Most standard physicals run 20–26 marker, which is enough to flag emergencies, not enough to catch what's quietly going on under the surface. My panel runs 75+ markers and I read them through a functional lens, so we can see patterns and act before problems become diagnoses.
Here's the thing about conventional lab work: the ranges are built around a sick population. "Normal" doesn't mean optimal, it just means you're not an outlier in a group that already includes a lot of metabolically struggling people. For example, a fasting insulin under 25 is technically in range. But under 5 is where I actually want you.
This is not a Disease-detection panel. It's a health-optimization panel. We're looking for the earliest signals — before symptoms become diagnoses, before "watch and wait" becomes your treatment plan.
Every marker I order has a reason. We're not running tests for the sake of running tests. Each biomarker tells part of a larger story — about your metabolism, your hormones, your gut, your inflammation load, your nutritional status. And I read them together, not in isolation, the way most reports are handed to you.

- Transferrin saturation
- Fasting glucose
- Fasting insulin
- Hemoglobin A1c
- HOMA-IR (calculated)
- Uric acid
- Leptin

- Apolipoprotein B (ApoB)
- Lipoprotein (a)
- Oxidized LDL (OxLDL)
- Homocysteine
- Trig:HDL ratio (calculated)
- TSH
- Free T3
- Free T4
- Reverse T3
- TPO antibodies
- Thyroglobulin antibodies
- Comprehensive metabolic panel (CMP)
- GGT (gamma-glutamyl transferase)
- Vitamin D (25-hydroxy)
- Vitamin B12
- Folate
- Magnesium, RBC
- Zinc
- Copper
- Omega-3 index (OmegaCheck)
- hsCRP (high-sensitivity C-reactive protein)
- Sedimentation rate (ESR)
- ANA screen, IFA with reflex to titer and pattern
- Fasting insulin — the most important metabolic marker, skipped on most standard physicals. Insulin resistance shows up here 10–15 years before a diabetes diagnosis.
- RBC magnesium — serum magnesium is nearly useless clinically. Intracellular magnesium is what actually tells us if your cells have what they need.
- Reverse T3 — the marker that explains why thyroid patients still feel exhausted even on medication. Almost never ordered conventionally.
- Full iron panel — serum iron + TIBC + ferritin + transferrin saturation together. Ferritin alone misses too much.
- Leptin — a key signal for metabolic resistance and weight regulation. Not included in Function Health or most standard panels.
- Adults seeking a comprehensive baseline that includes metabolic, cardiovascular, thyroid, hormonal, and nutritional assessment beyond standard annual screening
- Individuals experiencing fatigue, cognitive changes, unexplained weight gain, or hair loss that may reflect early dysfunction in thyroid, iron stores, insulin regulation, or nutrient status
- Patients whose conventional lipid panel has returned within normal limits but who have not had ApoB, Lp(a), or oxidized LDL assessed
- Individuals with a personal or family history of thyroid disease, metabolic syndrome, or cardiovascular disease who want full antibody screening, advanced lipid fractionation, and inflammatory marker assessment
- Patients with persistent symptoms who have been told their labs are normal — standard panels typically omit fasting insulin, RBC magnesium, reverse T3, leptin, and omega-3 status, all of which are included here
- Anyone interested in identifying early insulin resistance, nutrient insufficiencies, or subclinical inflammation before they progress to diagnosable disease
